Organ Fund Raiser | May 2008
Holy Trinity Church in Bramley are raising money to restore the church organ which is in desperate need of repair.
Our lovely organ was last repaired in the 1960's when it was moved from its original location, but with the mechanics in need of complete replacement and an extensive cleaning over the thousands of pipes that go up to make the beautiful sounds enjoyed every Sunday, at weddings and funerals.
With the suggestion of a modern electronic organto replace the current pipe organ was enough to galvanise opinion that restoring the current organ and retaining our heritage was worthy of the extra work to achieve the goal of full restoration.
Sadly, the restoration is becoming quite important but with an estaimated cost of £40,000 being quoted, the need to get fund raising was started in earnest at this years village fete, where several members of the church was on hand at our stall to officially announced to the village our aims to raise the money and why we feel this is important.

Can you help us?
